    Additional Information

Table $alephe_unicode/marc8_lat_to_unicode is used for both directions, for MARC8 to Unicode and for Unicode to MARC8. The duplicate entries in the table are necessary for characters with two diacritic symbols. In MARC8 both characters may appear in different order and therefore both orders must be considered in the table.
