  • Product: Aleph
  • Product Version: 21, 22
  • Relevant for Installation Type: Dedicated-Direct, Direct, Local, Total Care

Description

When using in xxx01/tab/edit_doc_999.lng the display of ITM2 for serial records a year is displayed even when there is no item to display because the relevant items are restricted by a setting in xxx50/tab/tab15.lng. A needless and incorrect line with text “The library does not have accessible items” is displayed.

Resolution

Use ITM9 instead of ITM2 in xxx01/tab/edit_doc_999.lng. ITM9 was designed to display items by year but only when there is actually an accessible item:

! ITM9 - by year: i.e. intended for serials, displays ITM

!        for each year (based on Z30-YEAR) that have visible item,

!        and leads to display of:

!        (1) bib record display

!        (2) item records for the particular year.
