    1. Additional Information
    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 21

    Problem Symptoms:
After upgrade 18-21, expand via util f/4 returned the following error message:
    Error: function X-AVAIL missing program <expand_doc_bib_avail2 >

    Cause:
expand_doc_bib_avail2 only exists in Aleph 18

    Resolution:
In ./xxx01/tab/tab_expand, change all occurences of expand_doc_bib_avail2 to expand_doc_bib_avail.

    Additional Information

    expand_doc_bib_avail2 was introduced in Aleph 18 by rep_change # 002271
Description: Expand routine expand_doc_bib_avail - "AVA" fields are not created for BIB records having "LKR" field of type "ITM", if the ADM record referenced by the "ITM" link is not connected to the BIB record. This has been corrected.
For technical reasons we did not fix the problem in the original Aleph 18 routine expand_doc_bib_avail but created a new procedure expand_doc_bib_avail2.
In higher versions the issue is fixed in expand_doc_bib_avail and there is no need for expand_doc_bib_avail2 anymore.
