Question

How can we monitor/calculate the traffic between all Aleph windows clients connected to a server?  We need the number of bytes and the number of sessions for these bytes.
We see "Wrote nnnn bytes" and "Message length" lines.  Is one for outgoing and one for incoming?

Answer

The "Message length" lines are for incoming (PC-to-server) messages.
The "Wrote nnnn bytes" pertains to the *preceding* transaction in the log (the transaction of the "ELAPSED-TIME" line). These are outgoing, server-to-PC messages.
