My Library Card: All ADMs listed

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 17.01

    Description:
All ADMs are listed on the "My Library Card" screen for a patron who has transactions in ADM ZZZ50 only. We don't want other ADMs showing under the ACTIVITIES column, particularly PWD50 ($usr_library).

    Resolution:
tab100 parameter FILTER-LIBRARY-CARD solves this problem:
    # FILTER-LIBRARY-CARD
    !# Values:Y N Default: N
!# Type: Text; Max Length: 01
    !# tab100 of library: Yes; tab100_<server_type>: No.
! Y = Filter libraries presented in "my library card"
! to include only shared pool's libraries in which the patron is
    ! active.
! N = Display all libraries which are part of shared pool in
    ! "my library card".

For example, you can suppress the PWD50 ($usr_library) column by putting FILTER-LIBRARY-CARD=Y into pwd50/tab/tab100.
Presumably you can do this in all adm libraries, and thereby restrict the list of adm libraries displayed to the ones where a patron has transactions.
As an added bonus, if this brings the count of adm libraries with transactions to 1, the header disappears.

Note: You must define *all* ADM libraries in tab_base.eng.
