    Not able to send secure emails from the Aleph 22 GUI after Office 365 disabled older TLS version

    Description

    After Office 365 disabled TLS 1.1 and 1.0 protocol versions for secure emails, it is no longer possible to send emails from the Aleph 22 GUI using the Office 365 smtp server.

    Sending emails results in an authentication error.

    Cause: TLS protocol version 1.2 was not fully enabled in Aleph 22.

     

    Resolution

    1. Upgrade to the latest Aleph 22 version - Service Pack 22.1.16

    2. Install the GUI client attached to this article, matching Service Pack 22.1.16
