    Description:
On our Production database server we have Oracle version 11.1.0.7.0. The database has experienced some problems concerning "Dump from bind peeking". This is the third time this incident arrive since January 2010.
Our DBA says that there is a patch for this particular problem.

We would appreciate some information on how to solve this problem.

Last alert receive on aleph20@pline : ORA-7445 [kgghash()+484] [SIGSEGV] [ADDR:0xF766B000] [PC:0xE9965F0] [Invalid permissions for mapped object]

    Resolution:
    Ex Libris' response:

For aleph20 we have certified April 2011 PSU, which should solve the problem.

You can install the PSU yourselves, using the instructions in “April 2011 Oracle Critical Patch Update for Ex Libris Products Using 11.1.0.7” in the Exlibris documentation center: > Cross-Product > Technical Documentation > Oracle > Oracle 11g

Please notice that the path for the software is on the ftp server is:
    /oracle/11.1.0.7/Linux64/quick

If you want Exlibris to install the patch, you can go through Professional Services (for-cost).

This issue is still open and was escalated to Second line support for further analysis <2012-03-25 01:00:04>.
