    Description

    The ./arch directory -- often at .exlibris/oradata/alephnn/arch -- is having 2-3 400 Meg arch.alephnn.nnnn...dbf files being written to it every minute. The unix "top" command shows aleph_2_urm_patron as the highest CPU process.

    Resolution

    Either:

     * the aleph_2_urm_patron process(es) need to be stopped;

     * files need to be deleted from the /exlibris filesystem; or

     * disk needs to be added to the /exlibris filesystem.
