Problem Symptoms:
When using the update_z103_ids routine (which creates UP, DN or ITM links based on target record numbers stored in subfield $w of specific fields):

1. Oracle error messages are displayed if the record numbers in subfield $w are invalid.
2. It takes a long time to create ITM links (based on ADM links) for records that have many other Z103 links.

Description: When using the update_z103_ids routine (which creates UP, DN or ITM links based on target record numbers stored in subfield $w of specific fields):

1. Oracle error messages are displayed if the record numbers in subfield $w are invalid.
2. It takes a long time to create ITM links (based on ADM links) for records that have many other Z103 links.

Solution: This has been corrected. (1) If subfield $w contains a non-numeric value, no link is created. (2) System performance has been improved for records with many Z103 links.
