Obsolete sublibrary/collection code continues to be searchable for serial

Problem Symptoms:
When the sublibrary and/or collection codes are changed in the HOL and item records for a serial publication, the old sublibrary and/or collection continues to be searchable and included in the search results in GUI Searching and in the Web OPAC.
Cause:
The xxx01 tab11_word has the LOC field being sent to the WSL and WCL:
LOC## b 01 WSL
LOC## c 03 WCL
As can be seen in xxx01 util f/1/28 ("Display Word Indexing for a Single Record") a LOC field with the obsolete sublibrary/collection is being generated in addition to one with the new values -- and they are being sent to the WSL and WCL indexes.
Article 000036261 says: "Program expand_doc_bib_loc_5_c (which is part of expand_doc_bib_loc_usm) creates SBL and LOC fields from the subscription Z16 of the ITM linked ADM record. Instead, program expand_doc_bib_loc_b2, which takes the information not from the subscription but from item record, could be used."
Resolution:
Staff may want to evaluate the above suggestion, but it would require running manage-01 -- whereas changing the value in the z16 record would not.
Additional Information
Article 000043057 ("expand_doc_bib_loc_usm **MASTER RECORD** ") has additional information about expand_doc_bib_loc_usm. To use the PST expand instead of expand_doc_bib_loc_usm, all of the expands shown in the article need to be included.
To test them prior to running manage-01 ("Rebuild Word Index"), add them to the xxx01 tab_expand as U39-DOC entries -- and then evaluate their display in util f/4.
