    Description:
Oracle has just come out with a critical patch update for java which they strongly recommend applying ASAP. Is Exlibris releasing a patch for the version in /exlibris/product/?

    The Java components at risk:

    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/topics/security/javacpufeb2012-366318.html#AppendixJAVA

The fix appears to be to upgrade to JDK 5.0, update 34:

    Resolution:
[From Ex Libris:] The specific patch mentioned in this SI was checked and found not relevant for Ex Libris applications. If any additional patch is released before April 2012, it will be checked for relevance for Ex Libris applications, and, if it is relevant and urgent, will be certified and released ASAP.

Please see the Documentation Center > Cross-Product > Security > Security Updates > "Ex Libris security patches policy" document for additional clarifications regarding Ex Libris security patches policy.
