    Oracle isn’t available you can’t run the upgrade_express_1901_2001"

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20

    When using the Upgrade Express option "2. Export customer data / 2. Pack the u-tree" in the source to export the u-tree, we get an error message "Oracle isn’t available you can’t run the upgrade_express_1901_2001".
    We are using the Upgrade Option Scenario 4, where the Aleph installations of the source and target are on the same server and the Oracle DB is already linked to Aleph version 20.

    The upgrade express is always checking the availability of the Oracle DB.
    In order to avoid this check, you might comment out the following section in ./upgrade_express_1901_2001/upgrade_util by adding a # (hash) sign to the first column.

    # set rr = $status
    # if ($rr != 0) then
    # echo "Oracle isn't available you can't run the $kit_name"
    # exit
    # endif

    Additional Information

    upgrade, 19.01, 20.01, Oracle, u-tree, export
