    Description:
You see these errors in running a batch job (such as p_manage_18):.
    Param Errors Found:.
F01: File /exlibris/aleph/a16_5/usm01/scratch/abci does not exist..
Param Initialization Failure, Exiting !!! What should be done?

    Resolution:
The F01 parameter, the first parameter, is the input file in this case. The file name which appears in the error message is limited to 40 characters, so it may, as in this case, be truncated.

So, though the message shows "/exlibris/aleph/a16_5/usm01/scratch/abci does not exist", it is looking for -- and not finding -- the complete file name: /exlibris/aleph/a16_5/usm01/scratch/abcinputfile .

In doing the submission, you need to make sure that the file is in the correct directory (often $data_scratch but sometimes $alephe_scratch) and that the file name is correct.
