    Question

We can get the Address Information to not display in the Address Details thru Staff Privilege.
We can get the default list window to not display the address by setting 000 to in /exlibris/aleph/u22_2/udm01/tab/pc_tab_col.lng

    PC_COM_ADDR_LIST L Address 02 000 02 C02 Address

The problem is that staff would still be able to display the address using 'Header configuration' and clicking in the 'Address' box.

According to documentation, we should not delete any line from pc_tab_col.lng. If one does so,... a 'Not in table' box displays in the header configuration form. Clicking in the 'not in table' box does not display the patron address which is what we are looking for. But what would be the correct solution ?

    Answer

There is no known better solution. If commenting out the "PC_COM_ADDR_LIST L Address" line and getting the "Not in table" column gives an acceptable result, that's what to do.
