Description:
As the fields in our Bibliographic records are not automatically updated when linked Authority records are updated, do the Bibliographic records have to go through indexing? (Our Authority records are all set to UPD=N.)

Resolution:
In this case, the generation of Z07s in the Bib library is unnecessary and wasteful. You can prevent it by specifying "N" for "Create Z07s?" in starting ue_08.
As delivered, the $alephe_root/aleph_startup has:.
set create_z07s = Y.
You should change this to:.
set create_z07s = N.
