    Description:
    We just installed v18 Service Pack 1411(January, 2008). Our print daemon is crashing every time it encounters a file that needs to be emailed. The Windows error is pointing to printd.exe.

    I copied the older version of printd.exe into C:\AL500\ALEPHCOM\BIN and the print daemon processed the job correctly.

    Resolution:
    Please download Printd.zip from the Doc portal.

    The Printd.zip is under:

    Download Center -> Service Packs -> 18.01

    Unzip the file and:

    On a single PC, please place the printd.exe file in path: .\Alephcom\bin

    For distribution of the fix to all PCs in your library, please put the file on the server, under the following directory, depending on your practice:

    $aleph_dev/aleph/pc_exe/version/alephcom/bin/

    or:

    $aleph_dev/aleph/pc_exe/sp_exe/alephcom/bin/ .
