    Description:
The pc_server and www_server stopped responding to requests without explanation or obvious error codes at 11:41 this morning. We've stopped and restarted both servers, but that has not helped.

    Error trying to start Oracle:
    idle> startup
ORA-01078: failure in processing system parameters
LRM-00109: could not open parameter file '/exlibris/app/oracle/product/920/dbs/initaleph17p.ora'
    idle>

    Resolution:
Site was able to restart Oracle successfully, but, after doing so, were unable to connect to the the server via ssh, www_server, or the GUI.

I was able to connect to both the server via ssh and the www_server and was able to successfully search the www_server.

Site determined that there was problem with their firewall ipfilters which they corrected, allowing them to also connect.
