    ProfileControl Please Enter Your Profile:

    Description

    In the GUI Client, the prompt “ProfileControl Please Enter Your Profile:” displays when attempting to log in.

    Resolution

     

    The GUI Client was not installed in Stand-Alone mode.

    Resolution:
    1. Uninstall the GUI Client.
    2. Delete any files that were not automatically deleted by the uninstall process.
    3. Re-install the GUI Client.
    4. Verify that the ProfileControl prompt is no longer displaying when attempting to log in.

    Additional Information

    It some instances, it may also be possible to answer the prompt using the username “default”.
