    Description:
The Profile Manager (the last choice in the Configuration menu) in ALEPHADM is disabled, and we need to use it.

    Any ideas?

    Resolution:
Profiles are used in conjunction with running ALEPH on a network. I you specified 'Stand-alone' when I installing the GUI, this option will be disabled..

I just installed a new V.18 client, specifying 'Main Network' instead of 'Stand-alone'. When I opened the ALEPHADM client here, it asked me for a profile. I entered 'default'. Then I went to the Profile Manager menu option. It isn't greyed out, and opened up without a problem.

If you're going to run a network version of the client, be sure you install it with 'Main Network' specified.
