Published ADAM links are partially not working

Question

When creating ADAM object links the link can sometimes not be displayed and an error "Object available only for signed in users" appears although there is an object attached to a BIB record with has value "GUEST=Y [allowed] set.

Answer

When creating ADAM object links using expand_doc_bib_z403 the created link is enhanced with field "line_number". The line number is a continuing number, object 1 gets number 0001, object 2 gets number 0002 etc.. When you open the link for object 1 (line_number=0001) the first object is checked and according to the settings for this object (GUEST=Y/N) it is displayed or not displayed. If you always want the first object to be valid for display you should take care that the first cataloged object has option GUEST=Y.

The system does not automatically search for the next object which can be displayed but uses always the line_number in order to identify the according object.
