    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20, 21, 22, 23
    • Relevant for Installation Type: Dedicated-Direct, Direct, Local, Total Care

    Problem Symptoms:
The customer bought RFID devices connected to the GUI; everything is working fine except in the menu "Circulation/In house use" in the Circulation GUI.
Here the barcode is not entered from the RFID device while it works with normal barcode reader.

    Cause:
The barcode read from RFID device is not put into the keyboard buffer.

    Resolution:
This is the Aleph development answer:
in the Aleph client there is no interface to read the barcode from the RFID chip. Reading the barcode and putting it into the keyboard buffer is done by software from the RFID vendor.
