    Re-link Item to Different BIB Without Item and/or ADM Record Deletion

    Desired Outcome Goal:
    Move items from BIB1 to BIB2, that is,... re-link item to a different bib without item and/or ADM record deletion.

    Procedure:
    1. If, as is normal, the item is linked to an ADM which is linked to the BIB record via an LKR ADM-type link, in GUI Cataloging drag the item from the BIB1 ADM to the BIB2 ADM.
    (If there are too many items to move individually in the GUI, contact Ex Libris Support, referencing this KCS Article #).

    2. If the item is linked to the BIB via an ITM-type link, the cataloger can delete the LKR field from BIB1 and add it to BIB2.
