    Description:
We were looking for a way to collect barcodes with a portable scanner and read a txt file of barcodes into the In-house Use function of the Circulation module, similar to the what the Offline function allows.

    Resolution:
[From site:] The PDA's I've looked at save the data to a CSV text file on the PC side when they sync the data that has been scanned. It's easy to tweak that txt file if needed, the only problem was getting the data into the In-house window in Circulation. Using AutoHotKey from www.autohotkey.com I made a hotkey script that opens the In-house window, reads the txt file line by line and pastes in each line.

AutoHotKey is GPL'd freeware, and I'd be glad to share the script I've written if needed. rsmiller@southern.edu.

(Note: it was confirmed in Jan., 2017, that this script is still available from Ron and still works.)
