Is there a service which renames a budget code or can we does this using SQL?

Answer

Use “Transfer Orders from Budget to Budget (acq-31)” in order to transfer orders from one budget to another (= rename the budget code). This is the only reliable way to make sure that the new budget code will be added to all relevant data.

Don’t use SQL for this.
