    Description:
We have been asked to supply a daily report for each sub-library of the items that the system has determined to be Lost (tab31). The easiest way, it seems, is to report out the circ logs entries for Loan declared Lost (17), using p_cir_21.

I tried it for one sub-library (our largest):
    ABC50,logger_report,ABC,20100106,20100106,0001,2359,N,17,,00,

It took almost 50 minutes - far too long to be running 13 iterations every day.

So my questions are: is that amount of time normal? If we removed older events, would it run faster?

    The Oracle indexes seem fine.
