    Searches time out; after one minute: "The page cannot be displayed."

    Problem Symptoms:
    All Web OPAC searches, except system-number searches -- and possibly Direct-index searches-- time out.
    After about a minute, "The page cannot be displayed" appears
    In the GUI search, the error message is: "SERVER FAILED TO EXECUTE REQUEST AFTER 60 SECONDS."

    The $alephe_scratch/XXX01_p_manage_27.log (manage-27 Update Sort Index) shows the following errors:
    Fri Jun 22 19:06:57 CDT 2009 Creating Index z101_id ...
    Fri Jun 22 19:09:40 CDT 2009 Error : Only 0 indexes out of 1 for table z101 were created
    Fri Jun 22 19:09:40 CDT 2009 Error : index list for index creation was 'z101_id'
    Fri Jun 22 19:09:40 CDT 2009 Error : Please check logs /exlibris/aleph/u18_1/xxx01/scratch/create_ora_tables_z101_id*.log

    An attempt to use util a/17/2 to build the z101_id (z101 Brief Records) failed because of duplicates.

    Cause:
    There were duplicates in the sort index.

    Resolution:
    Use util a/17/18 to delete the duplicates and build the z101_id.
