    Question

Why is the browse search in the GUI from BIB library in an AUT index not possible when the remote host (which contains the AUT data) is not available. Search is running into a timeout. This does only happen in GUI but not in OPAC.

    Answer

AUT data is considered/read when searching in a browse list when parameter “Include Expanded AUT Data” is activated.

In OPAC parameter “Include Expanded AUT Data” is activated in the User profile.

Therefore the behavior can be different in GUI search and OPAC.
