Description:
Our 3M 6210 self-check workstation is reporting an error. Through diagnostics of the workstation support person and the 3M vendor support, it has been determined that the 3M6210 is not receiving the appropriate setting in the ACS Renewal information. We are seeing in the sip2 server log:
<header>YYYNYN05001020050817 0403342.00</header>
The fourth byte in the <header> field should be 'Y.
What should be done?

Resolution:
To make the Renewal byte "Y", you need to add this line to the [Hosts] section of ./xxx50/tab/tab_sip2.conf:
renewal_policy = Y
Please note that the default is renewal_policy = N.
