    How big is the .tar.gz file produced by Upgrade Express Create Customer Data step (when run for the Oracle data only)?

    Answer

    The ./upgrade_express_2001_2101/data/ .tar.gz.oracle file is about 6% of the size of the ./oradata dbf files from which it is created, that is, the size is compressed to about 6% of the original.

    Additional Information

    Example: The total of the .dbf files in ./oradata is 280 Gig; the a20_1.tar.gz.oralcle file which Upgrade Express produces is 18 gig.
