    Description

245 subfield k does not display in GUI Brief view. There are however 5 instances of field 245 in xxx01/tab/edit_field.eng:

    1 # 245## D B -6
    2 a A ^
    2 h A ^
    2 b A ^
    2 c A ^
    2 f A ^
    2 g A ^
    2 k A ^
    2 n A ^
    2 p A ^
    2 s A ^
    1 # 245## 3 -6
    2 #
    1 # 245## 9 -6
    2 #
    1 # 245## S
    2 a
    1 # 245## P -6
    2 a ^
    2 b A ^ ^
    1 # 245## K -c

What is the need of all these entries?

    Resolution

As noted in the edit_field.eng header:
! "S" is used for pc_tab_short display in GUI
! "D" is used for "name tags" format in GUI and WWW (edit_doc_999)
! "3" is used for the paragraphs that make up the catalog card format (edit_doc.eng format 037)
! "P" is used for the paragraphs that make up the citation format (edit_doc.eng format 040)

"9" is included as the 245 Edit_field ID in various of your ./sys01/tab/edit_paragraph lines.

    Adding subfield "k" to the xxx01/tab/edit_field.eng ...
    1 # 245## S
    ... entry corrected the problem.
