    Description:
    System says the holdings record is deleted and we are unable to click on the Update button in this subscription record. See attached screenshot.

    Do we need our cataloger to create a holding record for the titles in question before he can claim a journal issue?

    Resolution:
    A subscription does *not* have to be linked to an HOL record, but if it is, the HOL record needs to be there. In this case, it seems that a link to HOL record 47251 was created, but the HOL record has been deleted.

    You need to click on the "4. HOL links" tab, highlight HOL 47251, and then click "UnLink".
