    Desired Outcome Goal:
    How to suppress message “Choose record format” when copying records from foreign database e.g. using Z39.50

    Procedure:
    Add the following line to ext0x/tab/tab_fix
    Z39 fix_doc_create_fmt

    And in the according table $alephe_gate/xxx.conf
    Z58-IN-RECORD-FIX Z39

    Additional Information

    If you have already added a fix routine to $alephe_gate/xxx.conf under "Z58-IN-RECORD-FIX" add program fix_doc_create_fmt to the appropriate routine in ext0x/tab/tab_fix
