Question
Can the patron expiration date be synchronized across different libraries, so that when the xxx50 z305_expiry_date is changed (in the GUI), the $usr_library ("network") z305_expiry_date is also updated?

Answer
The system needs to allow for different expiration dates for records in different ADM libraries. The ADM xxx50 z305 may need to have an entirely different expiration date than the ADM yyy50 z305.

And, in that case, what should the $usr_library z305 ("network") expiration date be set to? (I suppose that, ideally, if the patron has only a single ADM Z305 record, the $usr_library z305_expiry_date could be synchronized with that ADM record -- but Aleph has never had such a feature.)
