    The connection has timed out. The server at ... is taking too long to respond

    Description:
    After changing the Production WebOPAC port from 8992 to 80, our internal staff can access the OPAC (http://www.abc.edu/F) OK, but outside patrons always get the message:

    The connection has timed out. The server at www.abc.edu is taking too long to respond.

    Trying "http://www.abc.edu:80/F" gives them the same result.

    Resolution:
    This was a firewall issue. Opening port 80 for this server corrected the problem.

      • The barcode printed does not scan correctly via the barcode scanner.
      • The correct heading remove the comma from the browse list display of the heading but not from bib record itself
