In regard to a C0107 search (get list of global patron/ local patrons)

If I search, let's say, "cohen", the first time, it will come back with 60 second timeout, however if i do the same search right after that error it comes back with 8- 13 seconds. I'm the only one on the test system.

This is a common issue and happens on the webopac also. I am wondering if there is a cache some place but, if i get the timeout the first time, why would it be successful the second.

Resolution:
I see the following in the pc_server log preceding the 1-minute C0107 transaction:

Oracle error: update_cursor z65
ORA-03135: connection lost contact
<etc.>

Please try this sequence again so we can see if we get the same z65 error that we did in this log.

[From site:] I think that this was because I was idle in the client for about 30 mins. Once I hit search again it started with no issue.
