    Description:
ABC50 patrons are getting a transaction fee of 0.00 when checking out an item (see 21573000631532). Does having this line commented out in tab18 cause problems or is this coming from some place else?

    !1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
    !!!!-!!!!!-!!-!-!!!!!!!!!!-!!!!!!!!!!-!-!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    0000 ##### ## N General
    !0001 ##### ## N Photocopy request
    !0002 ##### ## N Hold request
    0003 ##### ## Y Late return
    !0004 ##### ## N Loan
    !0005 ##### ## N Renewal
    !0006 ##### ## N Photocopy processing (standard)
    !A4-6 ##### ## N Photocopy processing (A4)

    Resolution:
Y in column 4 means: register cash transaction
N in column 4 means: do not register cash transaction

It may be that when the line is commented out it is defaulting to a value of "Y", with 0.00 as the amount.

I suggest that you uncomment this line, leaving column 4 as "N".
