Trouble searching by barcode and retrieving items in a multi-adm

Description:
Two problems with searching by bar code in the cataloging module.

1. In the v18 Item Bar search in the cataloging module, I select the barcode search and enter a barcode that I know exists - but I get a “Remote Service Error (c0174 by-barcode 21) – Item does not exist”“.
I can get to the item other ways, but not by using this option.

2. From the “SHOW” screen, after doing a search, when I click on the “item” button, I get a blank item page.
If I go to cataloging I can get to the item record, e.g., by clicking on the item in the navigation window.
