    Question

Please explain the program logic of UTIL S 3/3/1 – ILL/ Incoming and outgoing requests (used for German library statistics DBS)?

    Answer

    For outgoing requests:

For total number of outgoing requests all Z411-records where Z411-OPEN-DATE is within report period are counted.
Z411-records with Z411-ARRIVAL-DATE within report period are counted as done.

Depending on the status of the relevant Z700 (Z700-STATUS) requestes may be counted as international ILL.
Z411-records where Z411-SUPP-MEDIA starts with C are considered as copies.

    For incoming requests:

For total number of incoming requests all Z416-records where Z416-OPEN-DATE is within report period are counted.
Z416-records with Z416-SUPPLY-DATE within report period are counted as done.

Depending on the status of the relevant Z305 (Z305-BOR-STATUS) requests may be counted as international ILL.
Z416-records where Z416-SUPPLY-MEDIA starts with C are considered as copies.
