Unable to go to position: 0 in CheckInListExpand

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 16.02

    Description:
GUI Acq error message: "Unable to go to position: 0 in CheckInListExpand" (Unable to go to Position 0 in Check In List Expand).

We can't check in serial issues.

    Resolution:
ALEPH is checking the item barcodes in all modules. If you take a look at the barcode of the item that you are trying to check in you will see that this item has an invalid barcode (603050-520) for the check that was corrected by the fix (check for codabar barcode format).

As you have serials items created in your database that have an "invalid" codabar barcode we think you have the following two options:

    1) Disable the codabar check - in the tab_checksum of the ADM library comment out the following line and restart the PC server:

    CSV-Z30-BARCODE checksum_valid_codabar

The check for item barcode will then be stopped.

    2) Keep the CSV-Z30-BARCODE check active in tab_checksum, but you will need to change the barcode of the issues to a codabar format when you click Arrive in the Check-In function of the Serials tab. Otherwise ALEPH will display an error message because the item barcode doesn't have the format that ALEPH expects by this check.
