    Description:
We cannot log into our Test region. util/c/4 in PWD50 shows:

    *** util_c_04 - check PWD50 lock statu ***

    Oracle error: update_cursor z52
ORA-01502: index 'PWD50.Z52_ID' or partition of such index is in unusa
    press <CR> to continue:

    USR00 shows:

    *** util_c_04 - check USR00 lock statu ***

    Oracle error: update_cursor z52
ORA-01502: index 'USR00.Z52_ID' or partition of such index is in unusa
    press <CR> to continue:

    Resolution:
The USR00 tables are not involved in this case. (They are involved only when you try to connect to a USMnn library.)

util a/17/14 and util a/17/11/1 for both of the PWD50 and the USR00 showed that the Oracle indexes for all their tables has Status "UNUSABLE". I did util a/17/3 All to rebuild the Oracle indexes in both the pwd50 and the usr00 libraries.

Since the pwd50 z52 had zero records, I wanted to do util g/3 to populate it, but since the pw_library has no demo library, this will not work. (One gets the message "Initial values can not be created for a demo library (when base_demo_lib = active_library)".)

Instead, I copied the two z52 values which are necessary for a pw_library from the usr00 library. (I did util g/2 for pwd50 and then added these two parameters, using "NEW":

    last-z34-sequence 0 Y S
    library-lock-status 0 N S

The util c/4 for both pwd50 and usr00 now show as "not locked" and one can connect with the GUI.
