    Question

    In Services checkbox "Read From / printToAdm" is checked. Is there a way to uncheck it permanently?

    Checking the box causes problems in running several services one after the other e.g. creating a loading file with print-03 and then load the records with manage-18 in a BIB library. The output of print-03 is placed in directory xxx50/scratch when the checkbox is ticked and manage-18 will not find the input.

    Answer

    To uncheck the box “Read from/Print ToADM” set the following line in ./…/tab/guisys.ini:
    PrintAdm=N

    The line can be set in any module in the relevant directory, e.g. Acquisitions, Catalog etc.

    Please note that the entry will be changed to “Y” and that this will be stored when you click the checkbox again in the GUI.
