    Description:
I would like to confirm or correct on an intended setting of p_manage_32. The situation is that we are planning to add a new logical base to our web catalog. The tab_base.eng piece has already been done. My take is that we need first to select the "Update logical counter" option, and then select only this new logical base in running the job.

In this case, I believe that the logical bases that already existed should not be selected - though I am not quite sure if this is correct. It has been almost a couple of years since I ran this job last. Please kindly correct or confirm.

    Resolution:
As stated in the p_manage_32 Help:

"Update Counters" updates the counters without dropping the
tables.... You can choose to build the counters for all the logical bases, or
    for selected bases only.
