    Description:
We have a number of special borrowers that aren't loaded during a standard patron load that we'd like to update expiry dates for. What we don't know is if there is a way to "mass update" these records, either through Aleph or through SQL, without generating a PLIF file to be loaded. We see that the z305_expiry_date stores this number, but aren't sure if this is stored in other locations in the database or not.

    Resolution:
The patron expiration date is stored only in the z305_expiry_date. You can update this field via SQL as you see fit.

(You should, of course, back up the z305 table, using p_file_03, before doing any such update.)
