    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20, 21, 22, 23
    • Relevant for Installation Type: Dedicated-Direct, Direct, Local, Total Care

    Description

    In running the Upgrade Express, transfer data step, we are getting this error:

      ssh: connect to host 192.168.7.170 port 22: No route to host
      Couldn't read packet: Connection reset by peer

    Or some other error.

    Resolution

    You can just manually move (with WinSCP, for instance) the ./upgrade_express_2201_2301/data/a20_1.tar.gz file to the target server.  But, as noted in other articles and in the Upgrading ... ACTUAL RUN document,  you *must* also move or create an ./upgrade_express_2201_2301/conf/par_file on the target server.

    The par_file is a one-line which looks like this:

      S_ALEPH_APP_VERSION=a20_1
