    Description:
    From the server, when I enter Hebrew letters in the *.MRC files, the Hebrew appears as gibberish in the Cataloging Module.

    Resolution:
    The following line should be added to the top of the *.MRC templates of $data_root/pc_tab/catalog and then run UTIL-M-7. Any file which is on the server and contains Hebrew must have this line:
    CHARACTER_CONVERSION=8859_8_TO_UTF

    You may copy-paste from the PC to the server with the Putty as UTF-8 and then add the following line at the top:
    CHARACTER_CONVERSION=NONE
