    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 22

    Problem Symptoms:
In cataloging module when changing the direction using "Edit text -> Change direction" in a German interface the Umlauts are not displayed correctly.

    Cause:
    Client configuration

    Resolution:
Local client file .\alephcom\tab\ger\req_lng has to be encoded in UTF-8. To do this open the file e.g. with Notepad, then save it again with "Save as" and select encoding UTF-8 in the upcoming window.
