    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 22

    Problem Symptoms:
Opening a browse list for authors (entry is connected to an AUT record) and clicking on button "Expand" to view the details from the AUT record leads to error message "Failed to read reply".

    Cause:
    Configuration on central server

    Resolution:
This is a special case for a local library in in version Aleph 22 which connects to the AUT library on a central server where Aleph 21 is installed.

For running successful the emulation between Aleph 22 and Aleph 21 the following entry has to be added in $alephe_tab/tab_verison on the central server:
    22.01 ALEPH Y 0 pc_22_2
LDP22 ALEPH Y 4 pc_22_2 [this line is only relevant when working with LDAP]
