    Description:
I am trying without success to use Version check to distribute file ./alephcom/tab/usertabcol.ini (I have distributed other files successfully using Version Check).

I have put the updated version of this file in /exlibris/aleph/a16_1/aleph/pc_exe/version/alephcom/tab/usertabcol.ini. On running Version check, this file is not listed in the GUI Version check pop-up box.
On examining the PC file, the Date/time modified has been changed but the content of the file has not been changed.

Should it be possible to use Version check to distribute this file? If so, please advise.

    Resolution:
The file UserTabCol.ini changes every time a user manually changes the width of the columns, and therefore there is no point in updating it via version check.

    Additional Information

    version check, UserTabCol.ini
