    Description:
After rebooting our machine, we have noticed that searches using our web OPAC no longer work.

When a search for a non-existing term is entered (e.g. blahblah), the system returns the index with no hits by the term entered, but if an existing term is entered (e.g. spain), then it returns the default screen and no records are found.

    How can this be fixed?

    Resolution:
The problem is with the VIR01 library. In this particular case tthe batch queue of this library was closed and a lot of batch jobs were waiting in the queue.

To fix the problem you should do the following steps:

    1. dlib vir01
    2. UTIL-C-7 and delete all entries from the batch queue.
    3. UTIL-C-2 in order to open the queue.
    4. run UTIL-X-8
    5. restart the web and pc servers.

If the problem still exists you should also enlarge tablespace for the ORACLE index Z05_ID3.
