    Description:
We run p_arc_01 each week from the job_list on Sunday mornings, but this weekend the process failed to complete, leaving the ABC50 library locked. Of course, locking the library like that has consequences for other job_list jobs, which also did not run until we discovered the problem.

We followed instructions to kill the service and open the library, but obviously this is a concern to us. The ARC product itself depends on this process, so we need it to work reliably. Why has this happened this time and previously?

    Resolution:
The problem happened due to activities performed on the ARC schema while the ETL process was running. Activities can include running a report or running a Scheduled report.

Please run the ETL again and make sure that there is no ARC activity while the ETL process is running.
